Claire Elise Boucher was born on the 17th of March, 1988. The name she is given is Grimes. [2][3] Her early work was described as moving beyond "lo-fi R&B" to futuristic dance-pop. It has included elements from electronic music, hip hop, as well as rock. A lot of her songs focus on sci-fi themes and feminist concepts. Five studio albums were released by her.
