Andressa Urach
Andressa began dating Tiago at the age of fifteen years old. After three months of dating and living together, they moved together in his house. The couple had an only child named Arthur Urach Costa born on May 19th, 2005. Following disagreements over marriage, they separated in 2008, after six years of being together. Andressa was able to move in with her son at her mother's place. After six months, Urach quit her job and had to leave her child in the custody of her father. Her main goal was to live a more prosperous life in Sao Paulo. In her memoir Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she endured sexual abuse all through her early years as a result of the abuse her foster grandfather suffered which began at the age of 2 to 8. Andressa has been able to overcome issues because her foster grandmother witnessed the incident and returned her to live in her home. Her mother was not conscious of the abuse she suffered until Andressa published the book. In her interviews, the famous woman said that prior to her conversion to Christianity, she would not be able to forgive her abusive partner. This was among my most difficult choices I've faced. I reached out to the person who had sexually assaulted me. It was not an easy thing to do. I said on the phone following a lot of praying and fasting, that I had forgiven the man. And even though I am completely innocent of any crime, I pleaded with forgiveness. The request to forgive me wasn't justified. Mariste Urach, in an article published by Globo, explains her story of what she did when she was first informed of her daughter's petty abuse. An interview on Globo Mariste Urach explains her reaction when she learned of the harassment experienced from her child.
